Manifesting 101 - Figuring Out What You Want & Manifesting That Into Your Reality

On Day 1, you figured out what you don’t want in your life. Now that you know what you don’t want, let’s shift the focus to what you DO want!


Today on Day 2, we’re going to talk about figuring out what you want and how you can start manifesting that into your life.


Take a moment to appreciate everything in your life that you DO NOT WANT. I know that sounds crazy and counterintuitive, but it helps to create contrast. You can’t have one without the other. Without knowing what you don’t want, you can’t truly figure out what you DO want.


I’ll now walk you through the process of appreciating everything in your life that you do not want!





Here are the three most common things that women I work with are unhappy with in their lives (and I’m sure you can relate to them too):

  • Work

  • Money

  • Partnership

So taking the first example of work, here are some journal prompts for showing appreciation to your current work and shifting your focus to what you DO want in your work life:

  • What do you like about your job? (Chances are, if you’re still at your job, there has to be at least one thing that you do like about it! It could be your coworkers, your paycheck, the people you help, etc.)

  • What would you change about your current job?

  • What would your dream job look like?

  • When you were younger, what was your dream job? Allow yourself to be a little kid again and dream big!

  • If you had all the time in the world, and money wasn’t an issue, what would you spend your time doing?

  • Now, set the intention that your next job, career, or business idea is out there. Also set the intention that you’re open and willing to receive new ideas, downloads, inspiration, and input for what your next step is towards creating your dream work. Let go of the how, accept that you don’t have all of the answers right now, and be open to new possibilities in regards to your work.

  • What could you do right now to make your job more fun? Maybe you dress for work in fun clothes or watch funny cat videos throughout the day.

  • When you think of your job, what do you think? For example, maybe you think “Ugh my job makes me feel so blah.” Ok - now consider, who would you be without that thought? How would you feel without that thought? A lot of times, the answer is “free.” Remember that you get to choose that feeling NOW. You can set the intention to feel free anytime - even at your current job! Set the intention and practice feeling free on a daily basis.


Now let’s take the example of money. Here are some journal prompts for showing appreciation to your current financial situation and shifting your focus to what you DO want in your personal finances:

  • What are your dominant thoughts about money? 99% of women have a lack mindset about money - they don’t feel as though they have enough.

  • How much time do you spend educating yourself about money?

  • Do you budget? If not, I highly suggest that you start!

  • If I gifted you $10,000 what would you do with it? If you answer “pay off debt” or “go shopping” then that shows that your dominant thoughts about money are lack based!

  • Do you appreciate your bills?

  • Can you start to feel GRATEFUL for your bills? For example, feel grateful that you have the money to pay your bills!

  • Set the intention that more money is on its way to you and that you are open to receiving it! Let go of the how, accept that you don’t have all of the answers right now, and be open to new possibilities in regards to money making its way to you.


Now let’s talk about partnership. Here are some journal prompts for showing appreciation to your current relationship and shifting your focus to what you DO want in your relationship:

  • Write a list of what you appreciate about your relationship and your spouse.

  • Is your current relationship working for you? Is it fulfilling you and making you happy (at least most of the time)?

  • Do you schedule date nights with your spouse?

  • Do you enjoy your sex life?

  • What is your love language and your spouse’s love language? If you don’t know, I highly recommend reading the book “The 5 Love Languages

  • Take a quick time audit - how much time do you spend with your partner? How much of that time is QUALITY time? How often do you put down your phone and have a real heart-to-heart conversation with them?

  • Set the intention to openly communicate your thoughts, wishes, and desires for a partnership with your spouse.

  • Know that you can’t make your partner happy - you can only make yourself happy and then bring that happiness into your relationship! Do more things that make you happy, and then watch the happiness in your relationship grow.

Once you start appreciating what’s not working in your life, get crystal-clear on what you DO want, and set the intention to feel how you want to feel RIGHT NOW, you’ll start to raise your vibration to call in all that you desire!


Stay patient. Stay present. Choose better feeling thoughts. Focus on what you do desire instead of what you’re lacking in your life. And enjoy the journey.
